cant be sure with thw WG mate but i put 180 on my street bob, standard 160, and i put 200 on fatbob, standard 180. usually cant go up much more then 20m. no room anyhows.

Some models will require blinker relocation kit to get the room under the gaurd.

The one that's on there is 80/90 x 21....I assume 80 is the profile and 90 is the width...I have been looking for a 21 x 3.5 rim or an equvilent 19" wheel but haven't found a straight swap over for a 2010 Wide Glide...I don't want anything fancy, just a wider wheel or tyre...

Hey Sparra , have you had a look at Walka`s wheels at VPW ... they are a site sponsor ... Fat spoke wheels that look real good ... he has them in 21 x 2.15 plus 21 x 3.5 as well as other assorted sizes .

Like Robots says may not be a lot of room for much more than the 90 x 90 ... not sure if a 120 x 70 would fit ... it would be great if it did as i am looking to do something simurlar to my 21 front on my 2008 Softail ... i know what you mean about wanting just a little more meat on the road ... i think the biggest hurdle with the bigger tyres on the standard rim would be the guard fitting correctly .

Would love to hear others thoughts on this .

Hey mate...Spoke to VPW before chrissy and they had nothing then to fit a 2010 Wide Glide but shouldn't be too far away...On my softy I have a 19" front wheel that made a big difference to handling...I think I will go 21 x 3.5 on my wideglide when I can find one...

Yeah i noticed that myself Perthhog ... wonder what happened there ... any of the moderators care to shed some light on that or was it just a straight up buisness deal type of thing .

Hey Sparra , have you got any pics of your Softy with the 19" front , i would be real keen to see how that looks with the whole flow of the Softy , What year was yours ... i have often thought that might be a good compremise and you get a hell of a lot more tyre choices as well .

I was also speaking to VPW just last week and Ian a.k.a. Walka reckons the end of Feb. before he gets his new stock that should fit latter models ... the 21 x 3.5 looks shit hot ... there is a couple of guys on here that have them ... S.D.M.F. being one , real nice looking Delux ... just be aware though you will proberbly have to change front guard or at least make some mods to it and as well Ian isnt totally sure yet but there may have to be some slight or small spacers made up for the front wheel axle .

I still havent been able to wrap my head around that one yet ... i understand there has to be a xtra size spacer for the disk to reach out to the brake calipar as you going fron 2.15 rim to 3.5 but what confuses me is there shouldnt be any difference in hub sizes ... would love to hear from others to why this may be .

I wonder if a 19" off a SuperGlide or Lowrider would do the job for your wideglide ... just chucking idears out there .

Hey Tim...My softy is a 95 model and the 19" I put on there was a straight swap using the old spacers...That's what I want for my wideglide, just a straight swap over...I have just found a mob in the states that makes what ever configuration you want(thanks to a fellow HDFA member) so that may be an option but I would prefer to buy local...

Thanks Sparra ... i`m a bit like yourself , just want a straight swap over , dont mind a little jiggling but not something that may affect the saftey or reliability ... i`ve posted also in the Softail section for other people with 19" front wheels on Softy`s so i can hopefully get a better idear ... any chance of posting a couple of side on pics of your beast .

    Tim .
