rear belt drive

    does anyone know ho many teeth on front and rear belt gears and is there a kit with bigger gears for more top end have found 1 with 61 rear and 27 front 1993 xl1200 usa

    a 1998 to 2001 BUELL rear pulley is 55T & mounts up on the same wheel & belt  ,front pulley is 29t on a 1200 sporty & Buell , 27t on a 883 sporty  all inter change on the same belt,

    so is it stamped on the gear how many if its 61t or 55t i hope its 61t so i can put a 55t pulley on get more top end

    from what ive seen on the net 32t front pulley will be the way to go and while im in there ill do the belt, swing arm bearings gota sort out my wobel at 140 going to change steering head bearings too still looking for bigger tank

    i would not go a 32t on a sporty thats a big twin11340  EVO size ,   we are talking 1991 up to 2000 sporty here yes , if so than a 29 is quite big enough  you can go a 55 on the back if you want , i think i might have a polished one here  that will fit on your stock belt  you have to count them teeth 1st too see what you have then go from there

    ill find out thay recon 32t would do 2600rpm at 100km i dont think it would be to tall most of my riding is hi way

    the sporty would strugle with a 32t  on the front  & you would have to go down to 4th gear a lot esp if it's a stock motor she won't have the gut's to pull it along esp up a hill,   if you labour the engine you will damage the crank

    ok i can get a 30t that should be better for the hills but up here a rang is a hill and ive checked out the 55t rear to i think ill go the 30t front first
