This seemed like the most appropriate place to put this up, wanted to give a quick review of my dealings with EasternPerformace.com.
I've just purchased a Thundermax w/ Autotune for my Night Rod. I found these guys through eBay as they had a 'Best Offer' service, I asked a few questions and asked what their best price was, attempting to save both of us some time. Stated their best price was $829, down from $899, reasonable, but then I kept hunting and found that I could get the same unit from MandM for $770.
Before I pulled the trigger I decided to thank Eastern Performance for their time but I could get the unit cheaper elsewhere, then went to bed. Woke up in the morning with a reply email asking if I would buy from them if they beat the price to $760, I was happy with that, another $80 for postage and it ends up being ~$825 AUD delivered to my door. (Could have been cheaper if my card company didn't charge as many fees as PayPal, but I didn't bother checking)
So I placed my order last thursday the 17th and payed in the morning before lunch. After being given a tracking number and an expected delivery date of the 23rd, I thought that would be pretty good. To my delight the unit turned up yesterday morning, the 21st, but I didn't get it until today due to terrible trading hours of Qantas Couriers and me not being home when they first called.
The transaction with Eastern Performance was seemless, and they were rather helpful, except for still trying to make money out of me when I first asked what their best price was, they came to the table in the end. Happy customer, recommend them for any other Aussies looking at some parts for their pride and joy.
Now I just have to get the Thundermax on my bike
