If he went faster without them....leave them off
The same thing happened to my mate, he had a flat tyre at gundy and had it fixed- rode back to brisbane and they fell off. They were run over by the time he went back and found them. Apperently if one comes loose they will both fall off!
Note to self and others: Check the mufflers fixtures for tightness ona regular basis, mabe evry 2 weeks.
Bugger me It must be a common problem coz exactly the same happened to me, luckily I was on a dirt road taking it steady when they fell off & I noticed it straight away.I had to use a bit of fencing wire to hold them on until I got back home, then got onto ebay & ordered a set of V&H big radius. fuck putting up with bits falling off
