probly more of a "if i fuck it up and fry this guys bikes electrics, im gonna be in the shit" he should still know how tho....+ they`d have to be insured?
Harley assist offer 400 k towing in NSW the nrma will get ya to there closest money pit
ya cant push these things to far if things go pear shaped
Really it all boils down to just get RACV or NSW QLD or whatever, then your cars can be added to the assistance for just a bit extra, imagine adding your Falcon to the Harley Assist, what a laugh. I got a belt break on the Monash f/way at 8.30 am on a Monday Morning once, went ot the freeway assistance phone, I got signed up to the RACV in a few minutes & they had a tow truck around in 15 to 20 min with a nice Islander boy to take me to the Harely place in Melb so that I could get stiched up there.
Mate, you didn't add any value to this thread.
But FYI, Harley head office called me today. They are taking up the issue with Allianz in Queensland.
Morgan & Wacker have replaced my battery under warranty, no charge.
Happy to scan and upload the no cost invoice.
Wackers replaced the battery today FOC (under warranty) and just said it was bad luck. My softy battery lasted 5 years.
shit happens, just want to pick up the beast tomorrow and boom on
thanks for yr interest
I would be embarrassed to let people know that i had to get my bike towed to the dealer because i did not know how to jumpstart it. HARDEN THE FUCK UP GIRL!
What is "TACT"? Some of these fucking clowns should not even own a lawnmower and learn about their bikes and only then can they have a true interpretation of what it is like to be a motorcyclist ! They shit me
Please point me in the direction of who thought they were a "REAL BIKER" , or are you just making things up?
Ha Ha Wimbo your exactly right. Feels good though to let a little steam of from time to time. Seems more often now i am getting older!!!!
It was about the oxymoronic service of Harley assist. I just wanted a jump start because I paid for 'assist'.
Obviously, many of this forums members consider themselves too tough to have roadside assistance. Fine, but don't wave the fuckin' hankie you wear around your neck to look like Peter fuckin' Honda next time you have a flat! I'll be lookin' the other way.
Well it was kinda funny that you ended up getting your bike towed away for a flat battery. And you know what, regardless what sort of a bloke you are most people including myself will always stop and assist a brother even if he has had his ego damaged! Lets go and have a latte and talk about your damaged ego, you can always trailer your bike if its a bit wet for you.
who cares if he had to get help for a flat battery only a fuck head would hang shit on him to build himself up...topic was about the service not the problem,,,
Ha Ha easy to see who would get their bike towed rather than jump it. What did we do before roadside assistance......did we just leave it in the shed and cry?
Im tipping Pauly is the kind of guy who talks shop, but actually payed someone to do most of the work on his bike
That is exactly the problem.........when someone like you thinks that jump starting a bike is "talking shop" then we really are in mechanical trouble.
God forbid that you would have to change a fuse....
Just thought you might like to have a look at last weeks 2000klm two day ride. Not many( any) shops out there or even mobile reception so guess your point is a bit lame
