Now do I remove my starter on mt 96 Wide Glide. Is it just 2 bolts or is there a bolt inside the primary?

Primary cover off. There should be a bolt holding the jackshaft to the starter . Then the two bolts!

Thanks guys for the info. Yeah Rider I have a manual but doesn't really explain it well. It did mention the jack shaft bolt but I just thought it a bit strange that there was 1 bolt behind the primary. Ah well off with the primary it is.

Yep...great manuals. I also bought the factory paper one on eBay for $30. Took a few months of waiting but one tuned up in the end.
