Any one use the Harley Oil Catcher Drain Oil funnel when changing the filter?

I got on but no idea how to get the thing any where near the filter let alone all the way up to the pump?

makes a mess with out some sought of catch system.

any tips appreciated

yep thats what I figured, pull half the bike apart

yes standard filter
now I will be putting a hole in it.
