Had been out for 4hr ride on the pushy with a dozen or so mates & on the way home we merged with what may have been the local HOGs. At two of the buisiest sets of lights in town on Sat morning two of them came up to the front of the lights ahead of us & gave a full on demo of a pair of big Harley's doing a full bore drag away from the lights, bits of rubber flying off the tyres, big black s's up the road & ear drums ringing. Lucky for them the two coppers that normally ride with us were on duty that morning so they had their drag demo with relatively low expense, apart form the tyre wear.

They must have more money than me...can't afford to shred tyres just for fun. Damn.

good on them, couple of lads out having a little fun.
you guys must have enjoyed the show and great sound as they cruised into the distance.
pity your two mates were not there, you could have given the good oil on why they have loud exhaust and get away from the traffic.

or was it a bad thing because the "may" have been HOG members

Like Fatman said good luck to them to be able to afford to shred tyres, but in the main street on Sat morning next thing is they will be complaining the coppers are picking on them cos they are on Harleys!!!!!!. Out of town a few weeks ago a bloke on a seriously good looking chopper pulled up to alongside of me on my sportster, when the lights went green we let it rip, no chance for me as he left me in his smoke but he eased off a bit later & I gave him the thumbs up. It felt really good to blow the cobwebs out. But I reckon you are looking for a period of time without a license doing flat out drags in the main St on Sat morning, just saying!!

As far as being hog members, I dont care if they are Lambretta club members, they got two wheels and are having fun.

Maybe weekend riders, dont really have to look out for The Man cause they very rarely ride.
I've seen it with a local Fatboy owner. Very rarely see him out, but when he is, he Guns it, normally a 50K zone.
