I thought i would right my first review on this site for these intercom's i just purchased last week.

    http://www.senabluetooth.com/products/smh10_universal_microphone.php?tab_menu=overview

I purchased the SMH10 Dual set for $379.

I found them quite easy to install into the helmets (Both Shoei XR-1100) the shoei's have a recess for speakers to mount and also included in the SENA kit was some velcro spacers to space the speakers closer to your ears if needed, I chose not to use these as i could feel the speakers touching my ears, So with the speakers in the std position the intercom was completely un obtrusive, I couldn't feel the speakers or the mike contacting my head in any way.

The controls are very easy to use with only two buttons on the unit, One for the phone and one that is a jog dial (Big Knob) this controled switching between the music and intercom, If using music through bluetooth you had control to play/pause/fwd/rev tracks, the only downside was that the two headsets couldn't share the one music device and couldn't talk and listen to music at the same time, which turns out wasn't a big drawback, we just ended up listening to our own music.

I'm riding a 48 Sportster with V&H shortshots which are reasonibily loud and the intercom and music could be clearly heard upto 120km/hr in a fullface helmet, i found myself turning the music down on some songs, I could also hear all of my suroundings quite well whilst the headset was in operation.

Some times i found the bluetooth music a little glitchy but i am not too worried as both of these units are firmware upgradeable and with SENA constantly offering improvments to the headsets software new functions can be had with future updates through a computer connected to the headsets.

They state the battery life to last upto 12hrs, we haven't tested this range yet but both my wife and i were using them constantly for two days flat out music and communication to each other without them going flat (charged them each night)

    Fit to XR-1100 shoei helmets

The mic boom was quite sturdy i didn't have any problems with movement during riding and i found that it didn't interfere with me taking my helmet on and off.

as for wind noise, i would have minimal wind noise at 80km/hr + with the visor completly open and with the visor closed there was next to no wind noise upto 100-120 km/hr, there was also an additional clip to go over the mic to further reduce wind noise which i am yet to try.

Overall i would recommend these intercoms to anybody, i found them very simple and easy to use which is important when riding, also just slapping the jog dial to talk was much easier than some other units that had a group of buttons that would all feel the same whilst wearing gloves.

    So there ya go...

    Thanks mate.

I've contacted SENA regarding my bluetooth hiccup whilst playing music and i'm confident that they should have a soultion.

I'm glad my Review helped ya.

I thought this unit was a little bigger than the other's around but in turn that was a godsend as it was so easy to reach up and make adjustments on the fly without fumbling around the controls, also i looked at some of the others how they are secured to the helmet and saw another branded unit that just sits in a the cradle that is attached to the helmet, whereis the sena cradle clamped securly to the helmet and the unit clipped in securly into the cradle with no chance of it coming off the helmet.

noit, I used one on a decent ride recently and we got consistent heavy rain (some parts torrential) and the unit showed no effects whatsoever from rain, worked flawlessly. I found they worked best with earplugs in as it removed most of the wind noise but kept the sound.
