Had my new bike deliverd on friday 2013 super glide custom, took it for a short ride around the back streets to get use to it and all i can say is that this Harley is a Dream to ride. ( have to wait 2 weeks now to upgrade my Licence ). I still have my Yamaha xvs 650 custom to get around on, trying to get used to the Blinker switch being on the Left and Right side of the Harley is the hardest thing at the momment, Is there any one with a Reduced Reach seat on there Bike as i am only 5'4 with short arms, i can touch the ground with both feet but i felt as though i was sliping back in the seat. Any help will be Great

    Cheers

    Mick

I tried a reduced reach seat on the fat and it was to much, knee hitting heavy breather. Went back to stock and am still changing bars and risers.
Go back to the dealer and see if they have one on a used bike the could let you try on yours, thats what I did.

You can fit 4" H-D curved risers that will bring bars closer without needing to buy any longer wires or cables , around $140- .

+1 on the 4" curved risers....Ran a set for 15 years and loved them. Now run a set of 6-8" pullbacks and love them more - puts me way back into the seat.

My first bike was an 06 XVS650 custom. Thought it was huge and really tough at the time.

Three Honda sports bikes and a Sportster 48 later, now I'm back to a Dyna and finally feel at home.

Congrats on the new bike, you'll love it..
