Would this idea work on rear brakes as well by making the application a bit more progressive (taking the initial 'bite'). Often riders pull in the clutch jump on the rear brake pedal and lock up in a panic stop.

So...
Does this mean that all those who have replaced their standard brake lines with steel-braided ones in order to (amongst other things) reduce the flex, now have bikes that are more susceptible to wheel lock-up? I can see the logic in the device - it absorbs pressure spikes to avoid lock-up - but it goes against the commonly-held belief that reducing flex is a good thing.
