So educate me, the air rides are mostly a visual upgrade to the bike right? The sweet dumped look when parked, not really for the actual ride of the bike out on the road?

Apparently they make quite a difference to the ride quality. I really wanted them for when I have a pillion...so I can lift ther arse end a bit.

Ah, makes a fair bit of sense for when riding with a pillion. Had my girlfriend on the back last week and was leaning around a quick round-about and got a scrap. Realised when we pulled up i'd scraped the frame (was thinking I caught a peg of the stock zorst). Turns out it drops a few inches two up!

I'd be looking at the air rides too but girlfriend just got her bike license to she wont be on the back much anymore

I did deviate from the instructions a little though.
