Sportster leather saddlebags

    I'm not sure about these bags, but i do know there are alot of companies making quick release/detachable saddle bad gear.....have a look around for after market stuff mate....

    I put these bags on my wifes bike.  They are from Leatherworks in the states.  You can use EDGE or EASYBRACKETS for quick detach.  Much more solid than the Harley bags

    Hi Icmacdon...I have the HD sportster saddlebags (as in your pic) on my bike which were on the bike when I purchased it from Harley dealer. I must admit I haven't attempted to take them off to adjust shock absorbers..I've only had the bike a couple of months. I'm based in Sydney. If you live in Sydney area I'd be happy to meet up with you on my bike so you can have a look at them before you decide to purchase.....cheers Battleon

    Easy to remove sportster saddlebag...Remove 2 x 10mm nuts as per pic & it comes off bike....only takes 2 mins :-)

    Forgot to add that you will need the indicator relocation kit as well.

    Ian...I haven't been away for a few days with the bike yet. So don't know exactly how much you could fit in each saddlebag. I would guess you would get enough gear in for 2-3 days away. Still happy to meet up if you want to check them out in person...cheers Paul

    Dont know if you got the pm i sent, but i have a set of K-Line bags on my '09 Sporty Custom which are for sale. Good bags its just that i am upgrading the bike. You can take a look at them if interested (Sydney based), plus i have a Sundowner seat for sale too if your looking to do some touring
