Yep, had one for years. Gifted to me too. As the legend goes, the bells are used to attract the gremlins that all bikes have by the continual ringinging of the bell. As the gremlins are attracted to the bell they become a little crazy & tend to fall off the bike, that is why (as legend has it), bells are to be placed as low as possible on the bike & as far back on the bike as well. If placed anywhere else when they fall off they could reattach themselves somewhere else on the bike............believe it or not.

Mine was placed under the number plate at the bottom of the rear fender, until the gremlins stole it. The replacement is now located at the bottom of the front crash bars..

Sorry Careyman, I have one. Working for me so far. looks good. A mate SG2012 give it to me. It's hanging underneath behind the front oil cooler.
