there was a fellow back in the mid to later 90's running a V-Max  by the name of Steve Riemer or rimmer i don't think i can spell his name proper it was a while he was sponsored by Modil ! when it 1st came out , from memory i don't think he did hit the 10's  they were a heavy bike with shaft drive i think , i havn't seen a later one out there for a while a good  lightweight sport's bike will beat them ,

i would be into dragracing just qld place so far away now ,used 2 be just up the road surfers paradise raceway i used 2 go there on my katana 1100 mid week an pay $10 an away u go not drag racing but around track ive seen gardener an a lot of europeans race there when it was swan series it was a big event ,and they did do quarter mile there as well at certain times AA top fuel  nitro rails used 2 go opisite direction from under arched dunlop bridge saw some awfully fast triumph twins just was super back then ,but alas is all units an shit now and a big lake in middle coz is on flood plain and peat swamp shit ,i only remembered wen i read about members saying should go strip .Well it,s 3hrs away and even my friend that was obsessed with it has called it a day and just sold his drag buell it just became like such an effert and just took its toll on him age as well and help from dealer faded ,i suppose its like watchin racin cars v8,s goin round & round it just becomes a procession of wat in da heck r we doin .I no that if venue was in more proxsimity 2 us that we would jump at it ,but there,s always sum winger about sumthin its 2 noisy or the smell or 2 much traffic or this or that im sik of all these wingin priks an laws an ya cant do dis or dont bunch up and all go 2 shop at once u may b an insurgent i saw him on the phone a pakage came 2 him thers people pulled up in my street they look suspicious ,let alone go drag racing cripes how can he afford that ,theres people comin 2 his house he must be doin sumthin watever it is i dont like it ,hes a hoon rides motorbike its 2 noisy doesnt go 2 work ,he always driving different cars u no those european ones wears dark sunglasses ,ive got 2 leave these surrondings bloody ridiculous all the fun been taken away ,now maybe its just me i dont fit in and never will yes im guilty of being a fukin individual is that so wrong ,i think there is life rules 2 abide by but the shit there dishin up now who thinks up this ship what fukin moron could even go aw i no a good 1 how about this ,i swear there all pissed or on prescription meds ,and who am i 2 judge laws rules ,i cant even write proper or gap lines ,so ill just take my meds an lay down like a proper person should an jus cop it on da chin as a copper once said 2 me and so that ends my opionions on things that annoy me at present an me bikes goin funny 2 seems wierd maybe its da fuel clutch strange as well jus got serviced but they jus seem 2 smile a lot an go yep shes good fuks me SHINGLES

iv'e been the Surfer's racetrack back in 1975 big drag race meeting i remember,  you can race or not i prefer to race  it give's me the BUZZ i need in life there's nothing like racing a good fast motorcycle  it's like having good SEX ,  sounds like you should go for a good  fast ride & clear the cobwebs out , 

Mrjpcooper I got the 120r in my bike. It doesn't make much more torque than yours. Had I had my time over I would not have bought the 120r. I would have taken the motor out and taken it to one of these blokes here on the forum who build performance motors. With the money I spent on the 120r I would have had much better result.

Dutchy your engine is good for 125 square you have a bottle neck with the pipe or throttle body or both combind.

looks like i won't be doing much for the next 2 mths as i broke the top off my left shoulder & crack it 3/4 thru ,  a wave dump me into the edge of a sandbank body surfing @ Wanda beach ,my 28 yr old daughter was only a few mtrs on my right on the same wave  thank god unhurt , i'am glad it was me & not her, as it was a very hard hit  .  unlucky  but also luckly 

Thanks HogBag for the advice. had others say the same. Saving for pipe and better tune. The harley shop was to afraid to play with the tune to much. I think I paid over $300.00 for a download. I still think I would have had a better result had I know of some of these blokes on the forum before I spent all my dough. I'm on my third try with pipe which has wasted money. Still not sure which way I will go with that still. I think if I had of thrown 8,000 at the 103 with these guys I would have had a real tirer fryer. Bike goes well all I'm saying is I would have done it differently in hindsight and will when due for freshen up.
