melted clothing on exhaust

    Hi I love my Sporty but just melted tracky daks to exhaust. Before I try to get it off, has anyone got any ideas??

    Had a plastic bag blow into my pipes once t the lights.....HB says she got the pipes hot enough to wipe most off....then when cooled she used just a chrome polish from HD and i cant even see where it was now...worked with the bag but dunno bout nylon...should be much the same i think...

    heat pipes up and hit with wet cotton rag .. should get it pretty much off ............ but i gotta ask trackies ?

    i done that twice now as i learned here wd40 leave over night and lots will come off with your finger nail

    Not to go too far OT, but WTF are you guys doing riding bikes with tracksuit pants and fucking sand-shoes? Was the squid parade on this week and I wasn't informed?

    I got a tube of Autosol Metal Polish today, let the bike cool off then tried it out, marks come off with very minimal effort, I used about 1mm from the tip of the tube, good stuff

    I whipped the residue on the rest of the front pipe and they came up a treat
