Thanks for the offer mongrel, it only takes about an hour to swap them over, i will do it on the weekend and go for a ride to see if the vibes are gone, I can handle the vibes around town, it is not bad but does get annoying on the long trips when you are going over a 100kph for a few hours.

No worries mate. Let me know how you go. I would be interested.

If it does make a difference, I still wouldn't mind catching up and seeing how much difference in vibes there is between them. Would be interesting to compare.

Mongrel, I fitted the stock headers back with the slip ons and the vibes are much less, But I am going back to the Big Radius as they look better , sound better and the bike goes better with them, so will just have to live with the vibes, I sometimes do miss the Valkyrie, it was as smooth as silk with tones of power, but it did feel like driving a bus.

It rode just nice, then you changed the full exhaust and it has an issue.
    Not Crank and Not compensator.

    loosen it all off again.
check the screws for the baffles
check the mounting brackets for fit and clearance
    check the flanges and gaskets
start at the back and tighten it all up again

Try it again to see if it's better

if that fails fit the old system and see if it's back to normal.

well I have dropped off my bike to harley on monday,
so far they have checked the crank run out and it was .05 so with in specs according to them.
now they are going to pull out the crank and check it out of the bike, and if it is ok they are going to replace the bearings.
I am with out my bike for at least a month they said.
    NOT HAPPY JAN

My Fatboy Lo had a weird sound the second week after I picked up the bike, had a loose compensator but no vibration they kept it overnight then it was ok.

But it did have a bad vibration when accelerating but the said it was normal for a Harley which is a load of shit, I said I know the harley will never be as smooth as my sportbike but they insisted it was normal. Anyway after a while I had to change the rear tyre and found that the rear wheel bearing was stuffed they fixed it under warranty. Never had so much trouble with a new bike before. Wow the price you pay for the Harley you would think you were going to get some quality.

Would never buy another Harley again.

I am of the same opinion, will not get another Harley, rang Harley Australia to see if the can do anything to help as the bike will be off the road for a month. The answer was "sorry sir nothing we can do"
seriously a month in the workshop on a 12 months old bike and there is nothing they can do, what a joke.
