Google "big bear choppers frame recall" and settle in for some interesting reading on the quality of BBC bikes and the way the company treated it's customers before they went bust.

mate bought a Devils Advocate (or similar?) for $30k used in VIC.
Thing is aweseom qaulity, plenty of bike for the money.

IMHO: Rides like shit to me but that's Choppers for you. Needs about 30% more power at least too.
But he's a chopper guy and absolutely loves it, gets ALOT of attention.

had a quick google true there is fair bit of info re quality issues... etc...

 Until you have ridden one for a while would not go back to anything else diference between a HQ to a merc
