Well it arrived in the mail today and 2.5 hours later it was installed. No major issues. A bit of tweaking to get the compressor sitting right. Shuffling to find the ideal lay for the looms and relay. Biggest question I have is the aft shock attach bolts. The standard shocks are slightly wider so when I installed the new shock the bolts bottomed out with the washer under the head left rattling. Another washer or two will tighten it up while leaving enough slack for movement.

first impression. GREAT.  I love the slammed look butI am more impressed with the quality of the suspension at ride height . Way more travel than mine with lowering bolts. Plus a blast or vent here and there gives you a firmer or softer ride. Total adjustment from slammed and rigid/ slight suspension to high and soft. Can't wait to go for a good ride.

yes I know photos are needed ill get some done this weekend and work out how to post them.

    cheers

It bolts under the gearbox aft of the shock. Its where the ABS bolts on for newer models. easy install. two bolts provided and the holes are already there for 07 up bikes. Snap fit airline.Done. Very tight with space so you have to make sure its rotated just right. The compressor head misses my gearbox by about 1 mm but thats all it has to do.

Far King sweet. Love those spoked rims. Is this how you got them and from where? I would like those spokes with the smooth rims but yours look fantastic.

The bike was mostly done when i git it. It has the fat spoke rims( the owner got the spokes painted but most suppliers do it now). It had the bars headlight.pegs , grips and most of the small bling items.
I added the single seat, tune, sickle mirrors, moved the indicators.Flush fuel caps, inverted 59 mm front end.front chrome caliper and the shot gun shock.

Hey Devo fricken great looking bike ... i `m going to put simurlar wheels on my 2008 Softail , most likely 48 spoke though , do you know how many spokes on yours ... how much rake and exstension on your inverted forks you have there ... what size is your rear wheel .

Lets us know how the comfort and handling go after a couple of rides , thanks mate .

    Tim .

Thanks for the compliments guys. The wheels are mammoth 52 spoke rims by DNA. Mix reviews with these rims but I can't fault them. Their great. Front end is 58mm inverted , 5 degree rake and 2 inch over standard. Front end rides well. A little twitchy at low speed but got use to it the first day. Willow racing front calliper.rear wheel has increased to 18 inch.
Still getting use to the ride and its not too bad even on the bump stops. I like it nice and spongy on country roads. But for turns or speed I stiffen it up. Really happy with it but I know it will get better with some testing.

    Cheers

I think that is an exceptional price Devo ... wish you had it for sale when I bought my 2008 Softail a year or so ago ... I used to be one of those guys who said some of these Harley guys ask to much for their bikes , but after getting mine and getting it the way I like it I can definitely see how the bucks start to get away on ya .

Needless to say I will never get my money back but that wasn't why I got it and changed it ... just push the wheels ... shot gun suspension ... and things like wires through bars , that job alone done in a shop can be upwards of 300 plus ... even had a quote for 600 from Gasoline up here in Brisbane ... didn't get them to do it that's for sure .

    Good Luck .

Thanks for the comments. Never thought I would sell so soon but with a young family its feeling a little selfish. Think I need to move into something we can all enjoy. That could be back into a classic car or maybe a family boat. Ill have to have a think for a while. If it goes on the market official ill through it on here first and hopefully move it on quick without going through the bikesales fuck around.

    Cheers
