Any idea on what sort of motor temp a 103 with ventilator and v&h mufflers should be. Just put a new tune in and seeing some big numbers via the power vision.

Hey Pauly how do you see the temp on the power vision? as a digital readout or how and is it a step you can use all the time?

    What temps are you seeing?
Up to around 150c - 300f cyl head temps
would be safe, as long as oil temps are good.

G'day Pauly, I'm running in a stock 103 in Perth - air temps late 20's to late 30's. Have been seeing cyl head temps up to max 148 c and oil max 300 f.  Have pulled up and let it cool at those points. Posted this on the forum and all advice was that its fine up to that point. Spoke to the dealer when I was in the other day and they didn't seem concerned.

Im using a PV too. Great for running in to keep an eye on temp and rpm.

have just ordered a Jims cyl head fan and have a K&P oil filter on the way also to help with temps - I'll be doing a bit of city riding.

    good luck.

At same air temp here in Qld getting 128-135c sitting on 100-115kph. At idle getts to 150+ real quick along with my right calf!

Let me know what you think of the k&p oil filter

    Hi guys,
I have a Jims Force Fan Cooler from USA Direct parts shipped for $390us. Thought it a bit expensive but after install tested into Melblourne Christmas ( bumper to bumper) and it kept the my TC Fatbob 103 cool and the engine light didn't come on!! worth every cent. I do a lot ot city riding mainly peak hour and often the engine light will come on and try to get air by splitting lanes etc. I do have HD oil cooler but it is useless unless there is air!!

I have Thundermax auto tune set at 13.9AFR, HD oil cooler and Redline engine oil and the best solution is the fan.

If there blokes doing alot of city riding either Jims cooler or Nelahe fan are the way to go!!

    Ride while you can.
