After a long wait, I finally find myself with the funds to get a set of drag bars, but I'm not sure what width I should be looking at? Most bars I've seen that looked good in the photo were either 28" or 32". I know personal preference plays a part as well, but what widths have most people found to be most suitable for the Iron?

I've got mini apes on it at the moment, and will be looking at either 5" or 8" risers to go with the bars in due course.

imo the narrower the better, so long as it can all clear the tank. If you're gonna run 5-8" risers, 28" should work, so long as there isn't too much pullback.

31 or 32 is the best , with shorter lengths you carn't see out of the Mirrors all you see is your arms, I sell 32" at VPW for $40.00 03 8405 9212

 I have 28" and flipeed mirrors - only issue has been potential tank damage (avoided by adding stoppers to the turn ability)

I've got flipped mirrors on mine, and (at least with the mini-apes) have found the mirrors are completely unobstructed as long as I'm sitting back properly. If I lean forward at all, then vision does get obscured a little. With the risers, the drag bars should be at roughly the same height, so I don't imagine that will be an issue at either width.

29" broomstick on mine. Can't go any shorter on stock fittings, ( brake master cylinder) not sure with risers. Also not sure with pullback. Mines straight

you'll get around the 24" mark with pull back/window/T bars, maybe a little less depending on construction...

i cut them back as short as possible just so everything fit's  on  & turn them down  too 7 deg's , very comfort ,  good for getting thru the traffic as well easy
