I disagree... Adjustable pushrods have saved me an absolutly chit load of time and money over the years. I recon they are one of the best investments you can make (the savings in time, labor and gaskets are well worth it)

Get some good chrome moly ones - folks tend to say that the aluminum ones flex too much, bug that's at high rpm where most bikes spend bugger all time.

do the job proper & do it once only,    you will not have too go back in there for 7 yrs  unless you didn't do it right in the 1st place
