My name is Doug. Although I sold my last Hogly 18 years ago now, I'm thinking seriously about a new one.

I started with a '42 WLA in 1983, added an '82 Sportster in '85 and sold them both to buy a new Softail in '86. Sold it in '94 after 8 years, 180,000ks and lots of good memories.

I didn't give up bikes, first buying a rat Norton Commando, followed by a new Triumph Daytona T595 in '98. Blew the engine in that at 90,000ks in '07. Bought a DR650 Suzuki for cheap two-wheeled transport in '07 and have now decided it's time to go back to Harley. Got my sights on a new Wide Glide. Will be looking for info as I know bugger all about the twin cams.
