Why is TTS better than SEPST?

I found the tts cheaper than sepst, can load canned maps that are freely available and can conduct data runs in order to customise a tune to my bike. Even if only using a canned map, the tts is a cheap alternative

"in the hands of a competent tuner" is the answer I'm sure BUT, who are they?

Would love to know who has the best reputation tuning with SEPST in the Sydney area, someone who would be focused on delivering the results rather than the hours of labour $$$

Sounds like the wrong map Hmmm. Did you set the cubes and injector size with DSM176 map.

Hmmm I cant find the map DSM but there is a map DMS 176 ?. I have DPC176 in my bike and it runs great.

TTS takes time to understand all the tables that you have to work with ( I think from my version that there is 24 ?) then there is the road time, its not easy but once you have a hang of it this process is very enjoyable. I found that when doing mine it pays not to rush and take each step/ learning period as small steps making the adjustments to the tables bit by bit.

Sometimes frustrating, but once the basic,s and a good base VTune is done and saved (very important) you can play abit, the experts recommend getting the fuel right, some spark correction (may be needed may not) then back with a final tweek of the fuel.

As every built IS different by just tollerances alone, the Vtuning can ensure that you end up with the optimum performance/economy.

I would like to make a comparison between TTS and SEPT but I cannot as I have only played with TTS.

Happy to hear you found a good starter map. I would use the TTS base map bank for your MTE map then it can be retrieved on the road if ever needed.

I went with TTS so I could learn to tune myself...I had a few issues with my computer but when I sorted that it wasn't too bad...Hilly is a wealth of info and helped me through it...My bike is running ok now but there is still heaps of room for improvement...My biggest drama is getting enough data when I do my v-tune runs...I get a little bit at a time so it's taking me ages to learn how to ride to collect the data but eventually I will get there...

    Cheers...Sparra

Looks like a better option than the tts or sepst unless they both come up with a similar device.
