Hi all,
Just had my 1250 Hammer kit installed the other week. I've got a thread elsewhere on this conversion but thought I'd share some info here on my build as a couple of guys have asked about it.
Slap thanks for posting the pic's, I like that style chamber a lot, asif flows a lot better & the swish band works.

Cheers daddyracer.
Here's the Hammer Performance cams page http://hammerperf.com/xlvalvetrain.shtml there's some good info of all the different cams. 560's & 600's are there.
And a thread specifically on the 560's http://xlforum.net/vbportal/forums/showthread.php?t=1453533
Slap.
short run's for the 1st few times out let her cool down in between , change oil's asap after 100 or so klms if yours is a 883 you will have to change the gearing
Well done with the pics etc looks great. I also have got a 90' cube kit cumin from HAMMER PERFORMANCE for my sporty can't wait.
Have gone XB1200 heads with crush work, carrillo rods and his 600 crush cams for this build
Nice XR Stink, what pipe you have on there? Nearly bought an XR-X meself once. Slap.
edit: I just read your intro Stink, good stuff, the XR Torque Hammer def a lot sexier than the XL version! Nice bike mate..
So I had the bike dynoed yesterday & was lucky enough to sit in for the last hour. I had hoped for 100 horses for bragging rights but expected the quiet insert in my pipe to hold it back & it did. I know this pipe is capable of more. The extra 5hp is not worth the attention from the plod though.
All up though I got what I wanted which is a fun street bike with a strong mid range. 1st & 2nd gear are gone in a flash, the real fun starts in 3rd & even 5k gear changes still bring a massive grin.
And yeah I know the chart is also in the dyno thread but I've put it here to complete this thread.
Cheers,
