Now I know this is in the " Rides and Events " WA section , but the bikes are physically here in Perth WA !
The shop is Performance West 246 Gt Eastern Highway in Ascot WA .
Basically they're a big Yankee ( new ) truck importer, Chevvy Silverados / Toyota Tundras and the like.
SS Camaros and Corvettes and that kinda stuff.
They have a good truck workshop and all that setup.
They have brought a few Harleys in to try the waters , all ex-Texas, and they are real clean bikes !!
The buyer in Texas must be appraising the bikes well as they're all in very good order.
Most of the imports I've inspected here in Perth up until now have been wanting in some way !
Nightrains , Rockers , Fatboys etc 2007 and younger.most already complianced. Several bikes in the showroom.
I've just bought a 2008 FXSTSSE2 CVO Springer from them and those who know me know I'm REAL fussy !!
It was the cleanest CVO Springer I'd seen in Perth and I'd looked at PLENTY in the last 7 months !
Many of you know me from the servicing and tuning side of Harley ownership , and I know my stuff allright.
Now I have no particular interest or affinity with the shop , I'm just passing on the news as I find it .

And buying grey imports when you pay an inflated price to a different party is the answer? These guys are not in it for a haircut! Short term gain for a long term loss. Fairly shallow/selfish way of doing business.
As mentioned, just devalues 5H bikes.
For the "Johnny-come-latelys" AKA the phantom Devaluing of 5HD bikes has already happened mate. I know, I've also got one ! However if you're in the market right now, as I was , then things are the way they are. I don't make the rules , I just play the game , and like it or lump it imports are the game now and for the future. I will NEVER buy a full new priced 5HD Harley again, and I've bought many in the last 16 years. Why the fuck would you FFsake ? And PS : I really know my Harley stuff !!

Of all the topics and members to have a crack at, is it just a coincidence that a troll chooses this one?! If someone does have a personal gripe with anybody wouldn't it show more backbone to sort it out privately with one's true identity as opposed to doing it publicly hiding behind a keyboard and false persona? Id be embarrassed to do this. Looking forward to seeing the pics retro but a little jealous too
