I like it...
shitbox, tacky cheapskates. hate the whole concept of doing this to jappers, dont know why just do.
Will the owner end up with a massive Yamaha back tat, doubt it.
No other marque will ever come close to the legend that is HD.
Ive seen some nice Bobbed or Chopped jap bikes, real nice, but the motors are all Balanced From what I remember, so they dont sound like an older Harley.Sound good though.
I think the new Harleys dont have the same Tune as the Older ones either.
Correct me if I'm wrong here.
Think its called a Yamaha Raider, cant seem to get them here, 1900 cc, I would'nt hesitate to buy one, love customised jappers, so many mods for them. They dont seem to have as nicer sound as a harley, but some of those big jap Cruisers haul ass.
i love most all bike's including Aprilia's , but on this bike she has a BLUE FLAMED seat now either the owner is a real farter or just carries a lot more gas than just what's in the petrol tank because i know what a BLUE FLAME is & i think the owner's name more than likley is i think BLUEY ZARSOFF
I know a real nice bloke that rides a jappa made to look like a Harley ......he lives hand to mouth , real generous with his time, but can't afford a Harley although he would love one. I think it's great that there are alternatives like this
I have mate with jap twins and I think some are neat, very comfy and most of all reliable. Like anything you can spend too much on chrome shit. I love bikes full stop, never seen a motorcycle I didn't like, been that way since I was a little guy. I was riding since 5 and on road since 17 and 9 months..no car license till late 20s. As much as I always wanted a harley..owned many a japanese model on the way to the pinnacle.
I totally get this. My first cruiser was a Yamaha XVS 1100 and I customed the crap out of it to turn it into my ideal bike. Must have spent about $5000 doing it.
Now I've got a Fat Bob - it's perfect - and even though I've customised it, I did it to make it mine, not to turn it into something else.
Am I a snob? Probably, but I still reckon my FXDF beats the crap out of my old Yamaharley as far as handling and style. Oh, and I don't miss the cost of Japper services and parts either!
