Hi, bought on of these (HD part # 42300009). When I got home & screwed it onto the tyre valve it started leaking air. The valve on the end of the extension was the bit leaking so I screwed the valve in further so it sealed but then the valve pin is too far inside the extension to be able to take a tyre pressure reading. I googled it & there are a couple of threads on the USA HD forum with others having the same issue. I went back to the dealer & asked them to test the replacement they gave me. It had the same problem, ended up the dealer had to take the valve out, wrap some thread tape around it & screw it back in. It now works. They hadn't heard of it before even though they have sold lots of them. I guess most blokes figure it only cost $14 & don't bother taking it back.
