The defender is supposed to be pretty good for power, it is loud but it has an adjustable butterfly to quieten it down

Good HP & TQ numbers, just has a dip in middle, i would like to see that timed as well. these bikes need it as the rubbers mount frames are heavy compared to early 1993.
looking up that pipe in Pic looks a bit restrictive, even without that butterfly, but not much you can do as you need to quiten them some. i think the suppertrapp is good that way as you can tune & adjust sound level power & torque level. but i have never tried one with EFI. best pipe i've seen for sportsters was made in Australia 2 into 1 removable baffle light weight. they all used them on the roaring sporty's. but a bit too loud for street unbaffled. daddyracer56 probably still has some.
883n can you tell me what heads your running on your set up?cheers mate
sorry just a quick snap, did all the heat cycles today and 1klm ride all running well def notice the boost in power even staying under 3000 rpm, have one problem though engine light is staying on checked error codes and po118 comes up????>?? cant wait for 2klm ride tomorrow lol

small update 2nd ride today 5klm all good pulls nice and strong even restricted to 3000rpm new pipes are much quieter
Yep no probs
Hi 666,
Re your error code. P0118 reads for a "ET Sensor High". As you have just done the conversion (very nice BTW, mine is in the wings) I'd suggest you carefully go over the wiring to look for any loose connections, or broken wires. I've heard of people replacing sensors but still having the fault code. From what I understand it's more an indicator of an open circuit.
I'm no mechanic, or electrician, though, there's probably others out there with ideas. Perhaps put a query in the Workshop section, there's bound to be a wider audience there than under the Sportster section or search the HD Forums site. It would be a bugger to have a problem now after all the hard work and cash that's gone into you awesome bike.
Good luck and enjoy the "new" bike.
As Slaps posted, we'd like a vid of the bike when you get time.....
Cheers
