    yep about the going rate, last time i changed bars had a shot at it meself. was supprised at how asy it was,internal wiring and all.
    Have a go yourself,whats the worst that can happen?

    Do it yourself, piece of piss. There are numerous guides on how to do it and you'll save heaps.

    do it your self, just make sure you have ALL the bits first. if you can undo it then you can put it back together. The clutch would be the biggest effort. Maybe you will need to remove the exhaust to get at all the bolts.
    The most stuffing around for me was with aligning the bars after the riser change, but if you are not changing risers it should go ok. If your not sure and do not already have a manual go buy one.

    Yep... As above. I did mine and it was fiddly but easy enough. I have done a few on jap cruisers too which probably helped, but if you are not in a hurry and you are handy on the tools, go for it.

    If not, then pay them and be happy :)

    So I got everything from the states. Spent a weekend and a few beers and got everything done myself for a few hundred. That included bars and braided cables from magnum
