As if the last one wasn't bad enough, I just read that these toss bags are at it again. This time it's a four way build off between the two American Chopper fucktards, Jesse James and some other mob. I had a look at the bikes and three of them are actually pretty cool looking, the fourth by Paul Jnr is fucking ugly. Check out the link if you want to know who won.

Watched a bit last night, the Gas Moneky bike was great, got my vote. The others were the usual custom over engineered crap, although Jnr's was cheesy, the others were ok.
The Gas Monkey guys actually won in my opinion, as newcomers to come second to Jnr was a great success. Jnr won because he is popular with the audience.
I don't normally watch this show these days so it took me a little while to work out what episode to download. There are two:
- Chopper live - "road to revenge", is the build episode (the only one worth watching).
- Chopper live - "The Revenge", is the judgement show (unorganised crap)
The American Chopper build off show was James' idea. No doubt his intention was to show up how crap the OCC guys were compared to him. Problem was it backfired on him. I still don't think he's cottoned onto the fact that it doesn't matter how good you are, if you're a knob no one takes you seriously. He's lost twice now to someone who he considers inferior. Even the Gas Monkey guys did better than him in this latest comp. Despite what he says, with an ego that big, tv matters to him.
I recall a couple of years ago I posted on here that American Chopper was going to die, they announced it at the time. But it seems a particularly hard animal to kill. Because two years later they're still around. The show has finally been cancelled, so I don't think there will be any more "American Chopper", thank fuck. But I suspect the characters won't just go away and die. I suspect they'll think of shows like this build-off to keep it going to some degree. Not a bad thing, compared to most of the shit that's on tv.
After seeing the build-off, I've been watching Fast N Load with the Gas Monkey guys, it's a good show. They do mostly car builds like hot-rods and classic car restorations. And their builds are on a reasonable budget, they don't just build over engineered crap for rich dicks. These shows highlight the cool stuff you can do with good trade skills, that's the best thing about them.
