Old chopper mags

I just aquired 7 "Big Bike" chopper mags from 1969-70. They are American and feature mainly Panhead and Knucklehead choppers. Nothing much seems to have changed in 40 odd years, custom paint, extended front ends and chrome everything were the norm then too. On average each owner/bulider was building a complete chopper for about $2000 US. Each magazine cost 75 cents. I was only 8 in 1970 so I wonder what the average weekly wage was then? Ah those were the days.

In 1970 I started my apprenticeship and and as first year apprentice I was getting $13.60 a week. Seemed like a fortune to a bloke just out of school!
