adj tappets on the comp stroke just set piston over TDC jast about 1/8 to 1/4" adj both inlet & exh on that cly then turn motor over & do the other cly, maybe has a bit of carbon under the or on the valve seat build up run her with a fan on the engine or ride her around the block set timing's etc 1st , fresh fuel etcthe last KH was in 1956, 1957 &up is XLCH570000 or XLH57 0000
i've been around the early cast iron sporties since 1979 & still own a couple , a few of them have had the nember changed around over the years you get to see some pretty not so orginal numbers but thats how they end up over the years any que's on them castiron old girls is allways good no problems, i still have some spare's left over not as much as i use to have
1969 dizzy have a mechanial adv unit is yours a adv & retard by cable early unit , 1942 WLA dizzy will drop straight in as well
