Just for your info, I think the cops are having a helmut blitz in the greater Brisbane area, Been pulled over 3 times this week for the breatho, lisence check, ect, but all 3 times the coppers ordered me to take helmut off and hand it to them and they checked the sticker and internal tag. Theve only just looked at the sticker before, never asked me to hand them the helmut before.

Yeah Mick it`s on the cards hey , 3 point offence apparently and fuck knows how much in revenue , sorta makes one wonder why someone would post pics of bundles of helmet stickers on here , but yeah anyway , maybe word is out or somethin`?
Just wear an approved lid as it ain`t woth the dramas hey , apparently they`ve been stickin`it to the clubs bigtime too , booking them on the way , and returning as well , 6 points for a trip , no one can afford that sorta shit for too long hey ?
The way it rolls in a police nanny state and country , but fuck mate 3 times in a week`s a bit much , ya`d start gettin paranoid everytime ya just look at ya bike , yet i spose they coulda repeatedly tassered or clubbed ya , just for good measure , or maybe it`s also so their cameras can get a better look and description of ya for their bikie database ?

a buddy just got done in melb cost him 300 bucks they also got him for loud pipes, another 700 bucks .... a thousand dollar day...

I deal with the EPA in regards to soil/fill/landfill and they are fucking clueless, just another revenue raising arm of the government, they even allowed housing to be built on contaminated land the fuckin hypocrites.

 As annoying as it is being pulled over and ordered to hand them the helmut, I still dont get why anyone would want a non approved helmut anyway, It is your only real protection anyway. As to the drongo that showing fake tickets, why not sell em outside a cop shop, might as well. and as to the sticker on your approved helmut, why would ya care enough or give a fuck enough to wanna take it off anyway, its only a little sticker.

 

I agree with Mick44....It just gives the Cops something to pick on if you get pulled over. Plus insurance companies love to reject your claim because they find out prior to court that you weren't wearing an approved helmet with relevant stickers.
