Check the simple things first and go from there.

I have a slight wobble at low speed but is either from my rake or my new wheel is out of balance enough to effect it. I am thinking its the rake, but I have dyna beads coming, so they might help.

I had a wobble at high speed - a steering dampner sorted that problem out.

Yeah...i mentioned the rear end earlier...Folks always assume the problem is the front yet the bike has two wheels..lol

That's why the first and easiest thing to check is the tyre pressure of the rear wheel.

When I first got my softail, I couldn't take my hands off the bars 'cos it would veer very quickly off line to the centre of the road. After a while I replaced a worn rear tyre, and subsequently checked the alignment and realised it was quite significantly out of alignment with the front, and it had come from the dealers like this. After I set it up, all was good.

So the moral is, do consider the rear end, and don't assume anything.

was 3 things, front wheel bearing was on the way out, stem head needed adjusting and 3rd, (which is a lesson to me) the tyre pressure on front end was low as fuk, i`ve been using a local petrol station filler... which I now know is fucked...

    thx for the help guys

Well, wasn't simple! Good work. And on the tyre pressure, I've always understood not to trust servos, I've got a tyre gauge I trust.
