Yeah Crazy Erny only used them on the one trip , seriously they`re not bad , work better than they look but really don`t look that bad at all hey , email Luke from HH and ask him to send you out a 2013 HD Accessories Bible , it comes with a complimentry HH beer cooler which is not a bad touch either , and they`re on pg201 , it`s part# 58125-90B and called Chrome Wind Deflectors , got mine from the local dealers for $100 for the pair !
They`re about 4 inches wide at the top and taper down to an inch at the bottom and would have to be 15 inches long , they mount under/behind the acorn nuts and grommet where the screen hooks onto quite easily and run down beside the headlight narcell and upper fork legs !
Sorta stop the air rushin up over the tank and creating a backdraft behind the screen itself , pretty effective as i couldn`t use the screen without em !
As described by others , in woeful conditions and bugzones or to block constant hwy winds over long distances , they and the screen are the ducks nuts !
They got some kool new gear in the bible , be warned , windsplitters , ventilators and soft lowers for softail crashbars , all sorts of shit !
Tried to post a pic but couldn`t for some reason hey , i`ll try again later ?

Hahaha yeah thanks fella`s , don`t let on to trumpy that i had me bodgy home made fish`n rod holder mounted via cable ties between the rear turn signal bar and me left pannier and me spinstick ocky`strapped solidly to the side of me rack bag quick detach style , he`d probably passout !
Yeah Crazy Erny they are quite noticable especially when the sun hits em , and they do give the frontend that alien chrome blenda type of look but deffinately served their purpose and would use them again on a big trip no worries , otherwise localy i much preffer her naked , wind rain rocks bugs and bees in me face just as nature intended hey !
Awesome riding country Tassie , was a first for me and me missus , i know many do and have done it , but if ya`s havn`t already , ya should plan to do it , great affordable trip , we had half our trip pre booked , but next time i think we will just swag it half the time and find accomodation the rest , which i think i would enjoy more rather than have to be somewhere at any cirtain stage , it`s made for it down there , the roads the nature , the lot , the Roadie loved it , possibly done 100 odd kms down stoney fire trails seekin out nice little creeks and pools home to little browns , not too mention some big black tigers too , can`t wait to do it again , but hopefuly longer , i reckon i could spend at least 2 months explorin Tassie , 2 weeks just ain`t enough hey !
I think about 50 kms from that spot in the pic ya hit the 99 bends that dops down to Queenstown , and to think that they use that as a section of Targa Tasmania , amazing riding , roads and people top to bottom and coast to coast !

Cheers Scotti, I am going to Europe next may for six weeks, & like your philosophy we have only booked & payed for the flights, the rest will be fly by the pants, & see where we land. I hate schedules & tourist Tours, I would rather find the real Europe on our own, should be a shitload of fun! When we get back from that one, we will definitely be planning a trip down to Tassie, as I want to go there before I snuff it, but I will be riding down on the FLSTC!

Yeah good onya man , now that would be a mad trip of a lifetime !
By bike is the only way to do Tassie i reckon , although ya sometimes get caught out , wingin it as ya go seems more adventurous too me as long as ya give yaself plenty of time !
