Oh yeah... 18 inch rear... 19 inch front!!

It has a very minor wobble at about 60 so I nipped up the stem nut and it's almost gone.

I am getting conflicting advice - to balance or not to balance.

Anyone with flash rims want to pipe in?

    Cheers

Hey mongrel have a look at Balancing beads? Maybe a good idea ... Mate nice looking bike. Headlight has to be next as it looks out of sorts with the rest... And totally agree with crowy about the rotors and pully..

    Thanks lads!!!

CROWY - Yep - Disks and Pulley is on the list. Need to save some more Sheckles first. It's about another $1200 EEK!!

98SUPERGLIDE - Lower chromes are the very next thing on the list - Probably just after Xmas - as they are not that Expensive.

AJ - Thanks - I will check out the beads - Re the headlight - Yep! Now that the wheels have been changed, it's a little to "slow" looking. ;)

    Ando - Lick my balls!! :) :) :)

I have the Harley Stinger wheels and they have been balanced, you really do not notice the weights if that is your concern.
Alternatively if you have a really friendly tire fitter he could try different rotation/location of the tire and see how close he can get it with out weights.
Oh and nice looking wheels you have

    Thanks lads,

I just spoke to a custom shop in the US, and then never run weights on rims - the use the Dyna Beads and reckon they work brilliantly! :)

Have contacted the Aussie dealer and will organise some.

The wobble at 60kph is not that noticeable, and I doubt it is a balance issue anyway, at that speed. It's more like a Rake and Trail issue as I have 4 degrees in the trees, and have lowered the arse end. That on top of the wheel size change, it's probably the cause. At 130 though, there is no vibes or instability. :) Haven't thrown it around too many corners yet (new tyres and all) but so far it feels OK.

Mongrel, looks great but no longer looks like a fatboy! Custom paint, or at least removing clear coat and those hd decals off the tank will really finish it off. If the weather is good over the weekend let me know if you want to catchup for ride or something. Will show you my custom paint done locally in Canberra too

    Hi all...Bike look goooood Mongrel.

The little beads you put in your tyre for balancing actually work well.Although ive never put them in any of my bikes,Ive had them in one of my previous 4wds.

Hey FatBat - Had a full weekend man... But we have to catch up for sure.

Those HD Decals piss me off!! But I love the colour. I have a mate in Sydney who is one of the best I know, and would do it for materials only ( I have known him for 30 years or more) BUT... I really like the colour. I just wished HD hadn't of cheaped out in 2010 and used proper badges. :(

It's still a fatty - always will be. LOL!!

Thanks for the nice comments lads. :)
