Hey Guy's

Im looking to Lower the shocks on my 87 Sportster, but most shocks I see on the web are for models 88 and up.

Anyone know of shocks around the 10.5" mark that will fit an 87? or why shocks that will fit an 88 wont fit an 87?

 around that year they made the swingingarm 3/4' longer & moved the bottom shock mount  but otherwise the same,  those shocks will fit up you might have too shim them out for to proper  mount      i think 10 1/2 " will be too low it's no good if the swingingarm is pointing upward @ the rear axle mount , about level with the ground is max
