Hi Guys
Just picked up my new bike in Melbourne rode it back to Batemans bay nsw, we were runing it in. Had my wife on the back,
got one block from the shop when the fuel line fell off the tank, not the best start. The main problem is the rear shocks I am thinking
its low on air, they bottom out just about any thing. With pipes air filter ECU and now shocks may be, the bike will be great.
But should we have to do this with the cost of these HD, having had BMW for the last 20 years i still have a1200GS that works
like a dream standard it a shame HD can not be the same. But the bike looks great and look forward to getting it sorted

Hi Gary, Congratulations first up. I also have an 2012 ultra and go two up all the time with a full load and standard shocks. Yes you do have to put air in them and i think mine are great. I put 40psi in them when fully loaded ( max 50 psi). and for general running around i reckon 20- 25 suits good. You have to use the air pump from harley as it has a "no loss of air", fitting, digital air guage, and it is very compact to keep on ya bike. so yeah dont go spending on shocks if ya dont have too.
hope this helps. and yeah to the pipes and tuner and filter, cause in the end ya will anyway.
Congrats on new ride. I heard that Harley Heaven were doing some good deals on 2012 run out stock. If the dealer knew you were traveling 2 up to the Bay from Vic they should have told you about the air shocks, and sold you a pump, at least pump the shocks up for 2 up riding. !!!! I'm down Bega way , hope to see you around the traps.
I have a 2012 Street Glide that gets serious use and dumped the std shocks and went with the Harley premium shocks. No comparision to the std crap!!
