Well got the Bob going wth the Stage 4 kit today and loaded super tuner map 176UZ007.
which is the closest i could find. Runs like shit.
Havent ridden it yet cause I'm waiting for a new Heavy Breather.
Kicks and starts straight away but the idle is really rough any I get little lean backfires from the throttle body.
Seems like I need to rev it to clean it out.
Any suggestions guys or does any one have a better map I can use?
what cams ? what exhaust ya running ?

Did a smart tune on my 96 with se204's but it made very little changes, the canned map was faultless to ride.
I was hoping for something similar with this one but no such luck.
How the 106 going? Did you have issues initially too.
Im running se 259e cams and stock Tommi gun headers 2 into 1, de catted with a divider and exhaust flap removed, V 7 H slip ons with straight thru baffles.

Is it worth trying a map that is suited to the 259e cams ? maybe 176SBM012 to get a bit closer, then as Hm2 says, try a smart tune.
Checked the settings in the map.
Engine size, injector size, cams, Throttle body.
Even says the kit part number so must be the right one to start with.
I think I need to play with the idle and accell enrichment.
Which I could take it out for a burn, have to wait for my air filter on Wednesday.
If I do a couple of smart tunes will it fix the idle and light throttle?
I thought smart tune only affects the closed loop areas which are light throttle cruise,
Any recommendations for getting a good dyno tune around south Sydney if I can't sort it out.
The more, and longer data is recorded for smart tune the better the results, it covers the whole range if that data is there.
The VCI will record about an hour by itself, (no puta connected), The VCI will start flashing the red LED when it has a guts full and won't record anymore until dumped.
If ya want to record smart tune data with puta connected then the time and amount of data is as good as the puta.
And as you say, better to wait until Air Cleaner etc is fitted for accurate data records.
Hey Rider, had a look at map 176SBM012 and it uses the stock injectors 3.91.
I have 4.89 injectors, can you just change that in the tuning set up section?
Will that automaticly adjust the settings to the new injector size?
Took it out for a run today and did a long data record session about an hour.
Generated new VE tables and reloaded. Goes really well I was rapped.
Had a look at the map I had loaded and the cam and heads are not what's in my kit.
Might start again with the Stage 3 map that has the right cam 259e but stock heads and I will change the injector size and try that.
