    g'day,

is it normal for grease to leak out  onto the tank like this?

ive only put  800km on the clock, its not flowing out just a very slow seep. will it settle down? its a pain in the ass! have to keep wiping the tank down!

Get a rag and cotton bud and wipe away any extra grease and shit from around the steering column/head and what have you.

Presuming you've had it serviced recently and greased it up for you. Sun and fun melts it and it splatters when you ride no biggie.

I had (and still have) the same problem. I spoke to the Perth dealer principal who assured me that massive quantities of grease (as in a new bike) are unnecessary. Just keep wiping it as it drips out.

One thing to be aware of though is DON'T use a high power car-wash jet near the steering neck, especially pointing upwards from the bottom. It is quite easy to get water into the bearing race this way and it will stay there for a long time and cause damage.

    Good luck!

    cheers
