The facts are he was speeding and he may well have had additional time to avoid the accident if he wasn't. It is a road safety  message for motorcyclists. The car driver may have been wrong but the message is for bike riders. A balanced ad warning car drivers to watch out for motocyclists (and push bike riders) would be also useful.

The only problem with having your bike lit up like a chrissy tree is plod will bust you for have un prescribed lights I think is the phrase they use. so it doesn't matter what you do, if you ride a bike, well you are at fault, it has been that way for as long as I can remember.
