Just changed my clutch inspection cover bolts, as well as the clutch & front brake & throttle controls, from those poofta fucking Torque screw bolts to stainless allen head bolts. At $2.20 each it's the best money spent on my Twinky! If you need anything in the way of bolts or scews in U.N.C. thread (Yank) Nut & Bolt at Yatala is the place to go! For those of you who may be wondering the The Inspection cover bolts are three quartes of an inch, by one quarter inch. The clutch & brake lever are one & a half inch by one quarter inch. Ask for UNC counter sunk socket screws.

    Thats a better price....!

I even buy new stainless hex nuts and polish them to buggery - they just keep on shining; thats why i like stainless.

Hey Tequila, Well mate all said & done, it's only the clutch cover, & handlebar controls, so I will not be losing any sleep over it! But it's something to think about! & in fifty years at the game this is the first time I have ever heard anything about SS bolts stretching, I have always used SS bolts in my Triumphs over 40years & never has an oil leak due to bolt stretching, Every other reason "yes' stretching... No!
Cheers mate, & once again thanks for your input!
