deciding whats best

     hey guys about to get my first harley and am tossing up between the sportster 48 or a crossbones i love the bobber look and both bikes look good bobbed the 48 is only a 1200cc motor where the bones is 1500cc not to sure how either go could anyone give me there opinion thanx

    As always Sportsters will cop the "girls bike" crap - if it doesn't bother you (and it shouldn't) then no big deal and you should make up your own mind based on price and look.

    Both lovely bikes, if you get the 48, you can save a few bob and pump up the 48 and customize the ass off it.

    I'd take them both for a ride, see which one appeals more.
    Looks help, but if it handles like a fridge, you'll soon get sick of her.

    Arrange to take a few for a test ride or you will most likely have a demon in the back of ya mind , test as many as ya want as it`s you that has to live with your purchase choice , style and fit !

    I think that both bikes look shit hot.

    Best thing Harley has done for years putting some "Maverick" into their bikes.

    If your got the Moola bro, go the XBones and do a bit of modding there as well.

    Mind you, modded Irons and Nighsters can look shit hot too.

    If your a big bastard, the XB would be the way to go for me.

    I'd go the Crossbones. I lke the 48's but they're another derivative of the Sportie whereas the 'bones are not so common.
