Looks lik ewe are moving to a system were the police declare you guilty and that all there is to it.

I wonder if these new laws will be used to target the many criminals who wear suits and sit in offices all day while raping and pillaging peoples finances

Too true Madoga, discretionary power in the hands of the Police always ends up corrupted...it is too open ended, and incourages Police to use it as leverage, rather than a court appearance

for the perp under investigation. The original Consorting Laws on which these modern 'anti-association laws' are based were phased out by the 70's because they were found to be complicit

in many police corruption cases. A famous Melb detective, Brian 'Skull' Murphy has gone on the record many times agreeing that consorting laws were used far more to bully friends and family

of suspects than bother with using it as a pinch on villans........and thats why so many people in the law & order game roll their eyes at the very thought of going backwards with laws.........they

didnt work then ....they wont work now. But the Pollie's advisers think their are still just enough rednecks out there to gleen votes from in the current tight political climate.

Most of us realise that its highly unlikely corporate crooks will get tangled up in anti-association cases, they tend to operate alone...and unlike Motorcycle Clubs their actions dont automatically

reflect the actions of ALL in their company...... Different Rules for different folk eh........
