Im thinking about buying a seat cushion for my Fatboy Lo, i dont have a hind like a Rihno so after about an hour of riding it starts to get uncomfortable and then just gets worse. Im tossing up between an " Airhawk" or a "Soft Bottom" Gel pad, would appreciate any feedback from you guys who have these or know someone who uses them.

You can always try Push Bike Skins, they have lots of padding in the arse area, with the added benefit a faction of the price.

did a 1100klm ride home from a run the other day and 2 of the guys had airhawks, one of them has a bad back from a prang and they both did the ride easy with the only rest being for fuel then back on the bike so I reakon that speaks for itself as my arse was sore at the end of the day

It may help but arses get sore/numb whenever you ride long distance, it's a fact of riding life.

Yeah only way is to condition your butt by riding more , though i bought a set of gelpads for the missus and myself from their website , check em out , American Motorcycle Specialties as advertised in Heavy Duty mag they are pretty awesome and are @ an inch of gel inside an black aussie lambswool cover , great quality and work extremely well on big rides , other than that , i purchased from the Mustang website , a Mustang super big arse touring seat and backrest which im used too and wouldn`t trade for anything , so my missus racks my bigarse gel pad until i start feelin it , but as they are heavier and dont deflate like the airhawkes , i only ever take it if ya gonna need it , like if ya goin away for a few days or something , otherwise the Mustang is like a HR holden bench seat awesome quality product ! Both worth a look hey !
