Hi guys,

Can anybody advise me on either a good electric or mechanical cruise control for a 2013 model.  Afterall they can fit one to the CVO breakout model, but don't offer it to the other softtail models.  Just thinking out loud would the right hand control from say a roadking fit on to my bars?  Thanks in advance.

I have fitted a cruise mate throttle lock to the Fatboy and it works great.

There pretty big in America, seems the ones doing big Miles have them.

I know this post is three years old but if anyone is happy using a throttle lock as a quasi cruise control, most bikes already have a factory throttle lock by way of a small star shaped secs that you turn under the throttle control.

I have the HD specific Vista model (looks much better that the universal model that I had on my Vulcans) on my FXST and it works well for giving the right wrist a rest on long rides.  I swapped it over from my Sporty which I originally bought it for, just before it was sold.
