88 softail-engine upgrade/reuild advice

    gday guys,

    im new to the Twin Cam scene, my current ride is an 88 softail with 88 cube obviously.

    some guys have told me to do a 96 cube rebuild or similar, whats the go at the moment, im just looking for some more balls for the old slug. what sort of dollars would i be looking at and whos the goto man in melbourne.

    Mate a 95. 97 or 98 ci kit, google Tman, fuel moto, S&S, GMR performance

    i figured it would be a fairly easy question for you guys to answer.
    yes i kept the caprice thank god.

    i have a few ideas for the bike, it handles alot better than my old knuckle, with my cars i always attack the performace before the looks, im easily attached to things so i will keep this bike. i dont have the heart to sell anything-a bit like the missus i havent the heart to get rid of her either :) hahahaa

    oh ok, i was looking at tman, s&s etc and the kits are fairly cheap, i can rebuild a holden engine, maybe i could do the bike myself or am i better just getting a pro to do it?

    been waiting for some to say somthing atleast your awake dave its a evo not a twincam  or has it had a conversion or stroker kit
