    just watched me bike get taken away

    arrived home from work as i pulled up blew the rh front fork seal

    rang gasoline alley spoke to jay

    sure enough on his way out to pick it up

    hope to hell its back bye the weekend big ride on with others

    anyone else had this happen?????

    if you keep blowing seals they'll take your bike away for good, we're not into that sort of thing around here.

    $360! Chit I'm in the wrong business. Mind you it is a little prick of a job to do - not complicated but time consuming. Make sure they check the fork stems for stone chips etc as that a common cause of the seal leaking.

    Mate, if it's a2011 Fat Bob, you're covered under warranty. I did the left one at about 11,000kms. Fixed under warranty, no wuckers.

    just over 3 weeks out of warranty

    spoke to dealer and wouldn,t cover it  

    MMMMMMMMMMM would love to name names

    so as before Gasoline Alley quick to help out

    just not in time for ride didn,t matter as before had to call it off

    $$$$$$$$$$ will be the next thing will see tomorrow

    not sure of cause just failed

    maybe the fucked up pothole bull shit bumps in the roads at the top of tamborine mountain

    any way got it back and happy as a pig in shit

     seals 22 bucks,  4 new bushes but they would not replace them  40 bucks ,  fork oil ?   cheap shit brand ,     i use BEL-RAY   only  25 bucks thats less than 40 bucks in parts  , + 360 lab

     My FatBob did the same over Christmas.  I opted to have both changed and it was $380.

    The bike had done around 10,000 km and was three months out of warranty.

    Great fucking news, just did the right one at 25,000km. This is bullshit! This one not covered under warranty so not happy.

    My 2011 FB blew one at 7000ks!!!

    check that the forks are set in the triple clamp at same measurement as mine was 10 & 15 mm !! One fork does all the work while the other is along for the ride !!
