A mate of mine used armour all (a spray bottle) on his grips (black stock ones ona sportster) and the next day they were "peeling" off in slices. By the time it had finished the grips looked disgusting. Apart from parking in the sun for an hour or two at a show, we couldn't think of anything else that could have caused it. Maybe it was an out of date bottle, but if its mostly water it shouldn't matter?
